Join teachers from across the globe to observe world-leading practices in education. You’ll observe Finnish classrooms in action while networking with experienced educators.

When you’re not learning from your peers, you’ll be exploring this beautiful and historic city with other teachers. You can meander through a sea fortress from the 1700s, join in on a “coffee crawl,” and enjoy a refreshing sauna. Or, if you choose, you can spend a cozy day in experiencing “kalsarikannit.”

The Comfort Solo Package allows for the most privacy and highest level of amenities compared to our other offerings for this trip. This room has a private bathroom, and would be the best option for anyone looking to come with their partner.

This option also includes a nutritious, daily breakfast. Please note – if you share with someone else, the package only includes breakfast for one person.

We know that relaxing and recharging are just as important as learning, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore and/or rest.

This is not your average PD. You get to choose your own personal and professional development.

Frequently Asked Questiosn

Is ground transportation included?

For most of the trip, no. Ground transportation will be offered on the first day of school visits from Senate Square. Directions to and from various areas of interest will be e-mailed to you after your registration is confirmed.

Is airfare included?

Airfare is not included in Traveling Teachers LLC tours. However, we’d be more than happy to help you score deals on airfare. Just let us know, and we’ll be on the lookout for you! 🙂

Can I bring my partner/spouse/friend/family?

You are more than welcome to make this a couples getaway, spring break or family vacation! You will just want to consider the lodging options.

If you’d like to book both beds of a shared room, let us know and we’ll work out the price for you.

If you know you’ll want to rent an apartment, or if there’s a certain hotel you have your eye on, I recommend booking the School Visits Only option. This allows you flexibility as far as meals, lodging and activities.

Am I able to make payments for my trip?

Yes! 25% of the total is due at the time of registration (we’ve done the math for you already 😉 ).

Please note that the total due must be paid by Friday, February 7th, 2020.

Can I share this room with another teacher who's coming?

Absolutely! If you’d like to request a particular roommate, please note that when you book. Since you would both be sharing a bed, one of you will need to book the reservation under your name. The other party can just purchase the School Visit.

Note that only one breakfast per per reservation has been paid for.

Are my payments refundable?

Unfortunately, no. As soon as your payment is received, we pay our partners and vendors whatever is needed to secure your reservation for activities, lodging, meals, etc.

If I purchase the additional meals and activities, can someone else have my extra dinner ticket on Friday?

Absolutely! Just let us know who will be dining with the group when you book.

You can send your inquiry via the form below.
