Note that I say “we,” and not “I.”
This is not another traveler’s blog.
This is not called, “the traveling teacher.” It’s called, “traveling teachers” because it’s a collective of information and opportunities for you, by you! This is a site designed by traveling teachers, for traveling teachers; this is a community!
Some of you might be wondering, “Then… how come the full logo has the singular form?” That’s because each person in this community IS a ‘traveling teacher.’ Together, we are ‘traveling teachers.’ We’re looking ahead to possible merch and other fun goodies for you – and in those cases, the singular just works!
Note that the logos below this post are our official logos. If you see a similar group using our content and concept, please let us know. We’d be more than welcome to have them join our community, but plagiarism just isn’t cool.
On this site, you’ll find hundreds (and eventually, thousands!) of opportunities where travel and education meet. This includes teaching abroad, education-based tours, teacher-led student trip ideas, unit-building trips, grant-funded travel, and opportunities for supplemental income – or career changes within the field of education!
